CAOB Membership Objectives

The Objectives of the Association are:

  1. To make membership a reasonable assurance to the skill. Integrity and responsibility of its members.

  2. To maintain the standards of the industry and to encourage members to fulfill their obligations in good faith.

  3. To provide a greater power of combined effort through the Association in securing just and honorable dealings from the public whom they serve.

  4. To foster and advance the interests of those within the construction industry.

  5. To promote and establish friendly and cooperative relations between members of the association and those with whom they deal.

  6. To achieve a close relationship and better understanding between the various branches of the construction industry and to improve a greater uniformity in the practices of those in the industry.

  7. To advocate and encourage the use of responsible contractors.

  8. To explore and develop best possible relations with construction workers and to promote safe construction operations for the protection of the construction workmen and the general public.

  9. To foster reasonable and proper credit procedures for the construction industry.

  10. To promote and encourage the improvement and advancement of all levels of skill in the construction industry by way of scholarships, apprenticeship schemes, training programs and management courses.
